Terms of Service

Plain language, no fine print. These are the agreements between you and us.

1. What BoughtList is. BoughtList is a service for keeping track of your purchases, warranties, invoices and projects. You enter your data, we store it safely and make it useful — nothing more.

2. Your account. You need an account with a working email address. Keep your password to yourself; two-step verification is available and recommended. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

3. Free and paid. Free costs nothing, no credit card required. Basic and Plus are paid plans with a fixed one-time price per month or year, always including VAT. There is no automatic renewal. A plan simply ends on its end date; renewing is something you do yourself, if you want to. There is never anything to cancel and never an unexpected charge.

4. Right of withdrawal. You have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal on a paid plan. Because the service is available immediately after payment, we ask for your consent to immediate delivery at checkout; if you start using the paid features right away, you waive the withdrawal right for the remaining period, as provided by law.

5. When your plan ends. Your account returns to Free. Everything within the Free limits keeps working. Items above the limit are hidden — not deleted — and kept for six months. Renew within that time and everything reappears. After that we permanently delete the hidden part, after a warning by email.

6. Your data is yours. We sell nothing, show no ads, and train no AI on your data. Even our own admin panel cannot display your list. You can always export everything and delete your account completely in one action. Details are in our privacy policy.

7. Fair use. The limits per plan are on the pricing page. Do not use BoughtList for unlawful content or as general file storage.

8. Availability and liability. We do our utmost to keep the service available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months. Nothing in these terms limits rights the law grants you mandatorily.

9. Changes. If we materially change these terms, we announce it in advance by email or in the service.

10. Termination. You can stop and delete your account at any time. We may terminate an account for serious abuse of these terms — with an explanation, and where reasonable with the chance to export your data first.

11. Law. These terms are governed by Dutch law.
